Motu Trip Testimonials

"For Labour Weekend, why not go on an exciting kayaking adventure down the Motu River. To start off you'll be shot away on a nippy jet boat carrying your kayaks, food and your camping gear. So you are 30ks up the river, totally out of touch with civilization. What to do? Plenty, if you're the adventurous type. If you're more the type who wants to relax, you can do that too. It really is a great experience, recommended for a group of 10 to 20"

"A great way to get back in touch with ourselves and nature"
Ann Laurence (Nick's Mum)

"An awesome, exciting adventure. I really liked pitching the tent, exploring and gathering firewood with my dad. We had the hugest bonfire"
Tyler (age 11) Taupo

"It was neat when we paddled across the river to collect fresh water from the waterfall. Everyone thought it was funny when my kayak floated away! Luckily my big brother rescued it for me"
Jaden (age 9) Taupo

"A real boys adventure. Apparently my pyromaniac instincts became obvious. My two boys and I worked together to construct the most amazing bonfire on the rivers edge which was great to all sit around and chat while toasting marshmallows"
Guy (Helicopter pilot and dad of 2 boys) Taupo

"I am so happy when me and my dad get away like this. I slept under the stars in my cosy sleeping bag and heard nothing but the soothing sound of the river (and my dad snoring!!)"
Jaxon (age 8) Auckland

"I don't often get the chance to head off like this with my eldest son and we never did take our kids camping when they were young. From one extreme to the other leading a busy executive life and then into the wilderness for 3 days where there is nothing but nature and time with James. We just hung out and enjoyed fishing, rafting and lots of talking. All sounds too good to be true, but it exceeded my expectations and I can see the value in spending time away with my son like this. More please Bruce and cheers mate."
Mike T (work-a-holic), age 49. Auckland

"Lots of food, breathtaking scenery and great company! Not to mention a thrilling jetboat ride up the river! I would recommend it to anyone!"
